A spectacle of gastronomy located in the Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid. Sinsombrero is a restaurant that revolves around its menu, giving value to its quality product. It has been designed by the studio Cousi Interiorismo, established in Madrid, with the main objective of finding the balance between the beauty of the place and the practicality of all its rooms.
This restaurant is a nod to the Generation of 27, specifically to the women who showed their courage to assert their ideas by taking off their hats. Its modernized version of this style makes the aesthetics of the restaurant stand out for the contrast of colors. A retro design that combines blue tiles, warm colors in fabrics, finishes and environments accompanied by vegetation and vintage lighting manufactured by Dajor that generates a space of warmth in which to enjoy the gastronomy.
Dajor Lighting Factory has been responsible for this project to provide custom lamps that follow the harmony of the place. In the central part of the restaurant, surrounding the room where the drinks bar is located, a designer lamp in varnished wood finish with opal white glass balls has been chosen to provide a diffused and warm light that accompanies the rest of the decorative elements.
Other lamps from our Luz Vintage collection are also distributed throughout the restaurant. To illuminate the entrance area of the restaurant we have placed the Saida ceiling lamp, a classic that combines perfectly with its design finished in brass effect. Finally, for the lounge area we have chosen the Reina ceiling light, a lamp of the right size to illuminate the room and offer diners a cozy and natural space.
Dajor’s lighting has also been the protagonist in the Ballantine’s ad, which you can see here, where a warm atmosphere and a predominant color scheme in earth tones make the space much more welcoming for those who want to enjoy their time in company.
