Today we move to the magical beaches of Barbados (Caribbean Sea) to show you a luxurious project that we lighted a few years ago. It is the Pink Sands Club Canouan luxury resort, a project by the interior designer: Lázaro Rosa-Violán.
For this exclusive resort hidden in a corner of the Caribbean Sea, from Dajor Lighting Factory we manufactured the lamps for one of the theme restaurants. One of the elements that stands out the in the Caribbean is its turquoise waters, for that reason one of the main colors of the lighting design had to be turquoise. We custom-manufacture hanging ceiling lamps with hand-blown blue glass lampshades suspended above the diners’ tables.
We complement the lighting with rigid suspension pendant lamps with white metal lampshades placed in an original way that creates an original lighting design, a play of filtered lights and a relaxing and very pleasant atmosphere.
For the bar area, we also manufacture oversized industrial design wall sconces in an elegant dark aged brass finish. These lamps are ideal to light cocktails and drinks. They produce a warm light filtered by a diffuser to avoid dazzling waiters and customers. We finished the lighting of the restaurant with some ceiling lamps placed next to the windows in front of the sea. They are made of metal and glass with some inspiration from the Mudejar design, these lamps with stained glass produce a most interesting play of light and shadow.
Finally, we also manufacture custom ceiling lamps with a design inspired by lanterns with glass diffusers. The elegant black finish and wrought iron provide an eclectic look that contrasts with the blue and white tones of the rest of the restaurant. They produce a warm light that helps to highlight the appearance of the decoration in a very elegant and sophisticated way.
