Near to Mediterranean sea, in the Catalan town of Sitges, this historic hotel, rwas ecently renovated by the interior design studio Lagranja Design with lamps custom-made by Dajor Lighting Factory.
Inaugurated in the 30s under the name Terramar Palace, it was conceived as a hotel for the wealthy class, with large gardens and elegant lounges. Currently, with MÉ By Meliá, it has been proposed to return that stately year. The basis of the Lagranja Design reform project has been to prioritize Mediterranean, natural and artisan materials.
From Dajor Lighting Factory, following the Mediterranean essence of the project, we take care of electrifying the large ceiling lamps made of natural wicker, incorporating warm LED strips. These luminaires were placed over the hotel reception to welcome guests and in the restaurant buffet.
We also take care of the LED signage on the façade of the Meliá Sitges Terramar hotel: manufacturing various laser-engraved blue LED backlit signs. The lacquered finish matches with the modern and renewed aesthetics of the building. We also manufacture the backlit signage for the hotel’s own bars and restaurants. At Dajor we always prioritize the use of LEDs.
Finally, for the suites, with a minimalist design, at Dajor we custom-made various models of very elegant wall sconces with white lampshade and spotlights. Floor lamps with a handmade beige fabric lampshade, which lets through a very pleasant, subdued warm light. To finish, we complement the restaurant lighting with hanging ceiling lamps in a white finish for the tables with large and circular metal lampshades.
