This restaurant is a gastronomic spectacle, located in Madrid, in the heart of the Salamanca district. This place is considered the most informal project of the prestigious Michelin star, Dabiz Muñoz. The famous Spanish chef owns many other restaurants with extravagant themes. This time Dajor Lighting Factory had the pleasure to create the lighting for StreetXO.
The interior design of this establishment has counted on the lighting of Dajor for the creation of the luminaires that would bring light to this quirky place. Muñoz’s restaurant will make you feel in another dimension. The whole aesthetic of StreetXO is planned to over-stimulate you with its decorations, which were created by Lázaro Rosa-Violán. The famous interior designer in the field of hospitality who stands out for his New York style and for being very innovative in all his projects.
For this project we were commissioned to create several wires, balls and some fleurons to be inserted into hand blown glass lampshades. These lampshades give an elegant touch to the restaurant thanks to the thin transparent glass they are made of and they have an interesting shape, a sphere with smaller ones around it. Apart from the lampshade, the bulb is covered by a glass ball that manages to diffuse the warm light it emits. In our lighting company Luz Vintage, you can find similar models of pendant lamps with glass lampshades. In addition to these pendant lamps, we also manufacture wall lamps with LEDs and natural iron sheet with a methacrylate cylinder.
