An Asian cuisine resturant in Arturo Soria (Madrid): Wakka restaurant: Its design will not leave you indifferent. The interior designers group Dorotea Estudio has been in charge of this project.
The restaurateurs’ mission is to surprise you with a multi-sensory experience: enjoy Japanese Sushi and Cantonese Dim Sum served at the table with a steamer.
Color predominates in the different rooms, pinks and blues in various shades. The furniture that mixes velvety textures and wood stands out. From Dajor Lighting Factory we take care of the lighting of the restaurant. The custom manufacturing of several ceiling lamps give the rooms personality.
First, ceiling lights were designed that simulate Japanese fabric fans. Several of them fall along the entire ceiling. These give a warm and diaphanous lighting.
On the other hand, different fabric ceiling lamps with green fringes finish light the restaurant. We used Helena, Hebe and Greta pendant lamps by Luz Vintage. The three hanging lamp models have a similar design: their material is fabric and the finish is parchment-green. The fringed trim in some cases is replaced by tassels of the same color. All our lamps are handcrafted, so the finishes are different and can complement each other.
Lastly, these same hanging lamps with a fabric shade and fringes have also become a floor model for raised tables. In this way, its warm light is more direct to illuminate the diners in said stalls.
Undoubtedly, the secret to decorating the space is the number of decorative lamps placed, how various Dajor models available in our online Luz Vintage store complement each other with similar styles and the play of colors.
