It opened its doors very recently, but it has not left anyone indifferent, the Corte Inglés has inaugurated the largest Gourmet space to date, located in its Shopping Center on Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid.
From Dajor Lighting Factory, the challenge was raised to manufacture six large pendant lamps Matilda with a diameter of two and a half meters, and another two vintage lamps Diana of four meters in length. Both models of ceiling lamps are available in our online store: Luz Vintage.
Each Matilda ceiling lamp contains more than 600 glass tubes. While for each of the vintage Diana lamps more than 800 glass tubes were placed.
Despite the size and volume of these pendant lamps, their final installation thanks to the chains and tensioning cables, gives them a graceful and light appearance.
The shiny gold finish, together with the warm bulbs, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to comfortably enjoy the Gourmet experience. One of these impressive ceiling lamps is located right at the reception, offering an elegant welcome, the rest are in the tasting area and in the wine cellar.
For the logistics, transportation and installation of these large custom lamps, Dajor technicians divided the lamps into easy-to-assemble pieces, to facilitate their transportation and installation on site. Take a look at our projects for oversized lamps made by Dajor.
We also took care of the lighting of “La Barra del Gourmet”, a tasting space, for which we placed the ceiling lamps Jezabel from our industrial-inspired Luz Vintage collection, with the dome-shaped metal lampshade, but with an elegant vintage finish in matt gold and with a touch of modernity thanks to the original ring that surrounds the luminaire. The ceiling lighting was complemented by the vintage wall sconces Zita, also available in our online store. Some original vintage luminaires, made with three metal screens in the shape of an inverted dome and strategically placed in the columns of “La Barra del Gourmet”. They emit a warm and soft light that invites the diner to enjoy and relax while enjoying an aperitif.
The exterior lighting of the facade of the Shopping Center was also carried out by Dajor, which custom-made one wall sconces in bronze finish, with a very urban design inspired by the classic streetlights of the cities and adapted to resist the exterior.
We finished the lighting of the project with several models of elegant vintage wall sconces and ceiling lamps that complemented the technical lighting of the shopping center. All these luminaires are available in our online store Luz Vintage. Our ceiling lamps Loreto with industrial design and striped transparent glass illuminate the ceilings of the best wines in the country, cleverly placed above the Gourmet Experience wine cellar.
Wall sconces Colette with a diabolo shade in a matte black finish and the vintage sconces Eliana in an industrial-vintage style and with an elegant black and gold finish, are other lighting pieces that we manufacture at Dajor Lighting Factory as a final touch to this Big project.
