Located between Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona, it is a restaurant specialising in Catalan, French and Mediterranean cuisine, with a heavy vintage culinary influence. The interior of the studio has been commissioned by Lázaro Rosa-Violán giving it a modern and elegant style.
The main piece of Dajor’s custom lighting project is a large brass-inspired vintage lamp, composed of a large circular structure with a rounded crest at the top. The lower part is lined with a mirror and held with rods. A ball with different sinuous arms with a warm light bulb at each end hangs from the main structure. The light fitting is suspended at the entrance to the restaurant.
The balls and tubes were another element that were very present in the project: we custom made various ball lights for the ceiling, with the lower half of opal glass and the upper transparent. The balls are suspended by a rigid seat post over the bar. We did the same with tube lamps, placing the pieces in different positions to get different models. With vertical tubes joined in a bundle standing out, giving off a warm light that inspires relaxation.
To finish, we also made some table lamps with lampshades and interior and exterior wall sconces.
